First cycle training

A beautiful day in London last weekend meant the start of our first cycling training. Safe to say that we are now pro's with sorting out any bicycle related issues, a wonky tyre, chain coming off multiple times, and a puncture. We learnt a lot nonetheless and had a wonderful day.

BATH HALF

Pre-race photos with my partner in crime - Superman Alex Petrou and the best supporter - Ollie Greenhill (although very closely followed by Gemma and Josh, thank you for your support!).
The run was tougher than I expected this year and sadly didn't achieve my target of sub 2 hours. I'm still pleased to have completed it at 2 hours and 2 minutes, thanks to all of the incredible encouragement from all the supporters around the bath half, and of course everyone who is supporting me with my 3 challenges. I'll see if I can get hold of any race photos to add to the blog when they're out.
(Oh and for those who remember my alice smith sports day 'disaster', I managed to forget 'it' again for this race. Fortunately it wasn't as obvious having such a tight outfit on.)

Arrival at the running village. Still looking happy =)

Getting nervous at the starting line.

And off we go!! (look how miserable it looks... I was miserable anyway)
